For the last two years or so when we have been driving in the car with Jude we listen to "Hello Music" - these are the music class CD's from Music Together that Jude loves. Well recently we have started a new rule. Jude can listen to his music on the way to where ever we are going, but we get to listen to our music on the way home. This plan has worked well for the last week or two. The interesting twist is that if we have some jazz on in the car Jude doesn't even demand to listen to his music, he is quite content to just listen. Anything else, though, we get the Hello Music demand from the back seat.
Jude is getting close to giving up his afternoon nap. He has missed it a couple of times in the last week and been no worse off for it, other than wanting to go to bed early. He is starting back at preschool tomorrow after a two week break, so he will probably be tired for the next few days. But once he gets back in that mode we are thinking of skipping it some time soon.
We went to the playground downtown today and Jude had a great time climbing and playing. We were surprised at how high up he climbed, he went quite a bit higher even than the photo below.
