With just two weeks to go now from the official due date, we know the little one can come at any time now. I am creating this blog so that I can record my journey into fatherhood. Right now I am very excited about the prospect of becoming a dad, and I feel prepared for this new phase of my life.
At 40 years of age, I am certainly one of the older new dads, but in some ways I think that is going to be an advantage. I like the fact that I have a lot of life experience behind me, I think this will make me a better dad. I am also much more secure financially, and I have the years of partying and living my life just for myself pretty much behind me.
I am really looking forward to meeting the little one in a few days or weeks. And I will be reporting on my progress here as I cope with becoming a new dad.
